The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will help us grow business and achieve outstanding results. The Business Development Manger will play a crucial role in the identification of new sales opportunities . The BDM will be responsible for driving forward and securing new business and scoping propositions with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Research opportunities and identify appropriate bespoke solutions
- Establish and build excellent relationships with prospective client key contacts and decision makers. This includes key contacts within framework providers who can influence decision making
- Review our resources and lead a strategy to ensure that we have a competitive advantage in the marketplace
- Lead and support the facilitation and completion of all proposals, tenders, and presentations
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and improve our service proposition
- Work as needed with colleagues to ensure a smooth project/contract starts
- Promote City Plumbing’s role in providing bespoke solutions to the marketplace and secure ‘linked’ opportunities with existing and new clients e.g. energy efficiency products
This is a remote-based role involving travel throughout a specific area, so a full driving license and ability to travel is a must!
