As a Stock Control Assistant, you’ll be committed to delivering an outstanding level of service, and you’ll be professional, driven and enthusiastic. The Stock Control Assistant role will primarily focus on the daily tasks associated with stock management, ensuring that replenishment KPIs are consistently met. As a Stock Control Assistant, you will also oversee all stock-related KPIs, guaranteeing that orders are aligned with customer demand while maintaining a strong focus on delivering exceptional support throughout customer interactions with the branch
The Stock Control Assistant will have proven experience of stock management in a logistics or warehouse environment, and will be able to manage workload, cope with multiple tasks and priorities while making important decisions
You will be contracted to a set minimum number of hours per week, and you will be required to be flexible to work additional hours to deliver the best customer experience, especially during the peak trading winter heating season. Where possible, hours and shifts will be agreed with you with plenty of notice so that you know exactly what you are doing and when! You’ll naturally promote and embrace our inclusive team environment and we’re sure you’ll have some fun along the way!
As a Stock Control Assistant, you’ll ideally have experience in a similar fast moving stock environment. You'll work well under pressure with a keen eye for detail as this role is as much about accuracy and quality, as speed. You will enjoy working within a team and have a dedicated focus on driving results, whilst being committed to acting with integrity and honesty in everything you do. You'll be flexible with working hours, and your approach to delivering customer and business needs. Ideally you’ll have previous experience of selling or assisting customers with purchases, with knowledge of the products associated with our industry - although enthusiasm and a can-do attitude is just as important!
