Are you a commercially minded professional with a knack for operational excellence? City Plumbing is looking for a Branch Support Manager to join our Estimating team in Leeds.
In this vital role, you will serve as the operational backbone for projects that build our communities. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for New Build homes, Social Housing, and essential Public Sector projects like schools and hospitals. By removing administrative friction and protecting margins, you will help our branches provide a faster, more reliable service to our customers.
You possess a versatile skill set that blends strategic thinking with hands-on operational excellence. You are a natural problem-solver who can navigate complex organizational structures with ease, maintaining a calm and professional demeanour even when working under the pressure of tight deadlines. Your communication style is clear and influential, allowing you to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from branch colleagues to external suppliers. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, you don't just follow existing processes, you actively look for ways to make them more efficient and effective for the wider team.
You will bring proven commercial expertise to the role, with a background in pricing or business support ideally gained within the building materials, merchanting, or construction sectors. You should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in managing administrative functions, backed by your consistent track record of meeting strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Beyond operational management, you will use your analytical rigor to transform complex data into actionable insights, utilising your deep understanding of pricing mechanics, net pricing, and margin protection within a distribution model.
